While emergencies do arise and sometimes delays are unavoidable, this office usually runs on time. Please be on time for your appointment. We pride ourselves on giving every patient the time needed to ensure she has a thorough understanding of her health issues. Please keep in mind that you are making an appointment with the provider of your choice and each provider has their own appointment schedule. In the event that your provider is unavailable, any one of our highly qualified providers are usually available to continue your care.

If you find it necessary to cancel an appointment, please call 24 hours in advance or you may be charged up to a $75 broken appointment fee.


First Time Patients:

Welcome! Please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to fill out paperwork and please don’t forget your insurance card.


Telephone Calls:

Please feel free to call our office for any of your OB/GYN medical needs, questions or concerns. We try to answer and return your calls promptly. If you feel that your medical problem is of an urgent nature, please emphasize this fact to the receptionist and/or nursing staff.

Normal laboratory results may be obtained by mail or Patient Portal. Any abnormal findings will be called to you by either the provider or the nursing staff.

Emergencies will always receive priority regardless of the day or time.


Prescriptions and Renewals:

All prescriptions and authorizations for renewals should be requested during normal office hours. Please give 48 business hours notice for medication refills.


Lab Results:

Normal Results: All normal results such as mammograms, pap smears, or blood work are sent to you by mail or posted through our Patient Portal.

Ultrasounds, procedure pathology, or biopsy results are discussed in a scheduled appointment with your provider.

Abnormal Results: If results are abnormal, you will receive a telephone call from your provider or the nurse.

If you have any questions regarding your test results please don’t hesitate to call the office during business hours. Please be aware that some tests such a cultures (urine or blood) take 48-72 hours to grow out and you will be notified after results are back.


Parking:

Cortland Office: There is an off street parking lot located in the back of our office. The entrance to the parking lot is on Willow Street (Right off of North Main). If there are no available spots in the parking lot you may park in front of our office on North Main Street.

Lansing Office: There are many parking spots available surrounding our building.


Handicapped Accessibility:

In addition to a designated handicapped accessible parking space, there is a wheelchair ramp at the back of the medical office from the parking lot. Any patients needing additional assistance should feel free to make special arrangements with the staff upon making an appointment.

Once inside the building, services are provided on two floors. Patients having any difficulty ascending stairs are gladly accommodated and taken upstairs on our automatic lift. The building has both a side and rear entrance. Patients parking in the parking lot often find it easier to enter through the rear entrance.
